Monsters will drop certificates, Elementi and crafting materials rather than gold.[2][3]
- A wolf is not going to be carrying a sack of gold. It may instead drop "pelts" that can be traded for gold.[3]
- Certificates will also drop on a character's death.[2]
- Certificates can be traded with hunter NPCs within nodes. Transferring certificates via the caravan system may give a higher return on the certificates.[2]
- Certificates can also be stored within node warehouses.[2]
Loot tables will favor dropping crafting materials as opposed to trash items.[3]
- Loot tables are disabled for player controlled monsters.[4]
- The developers intend to test dynamic loot tables during the test phases.[5]
