Profession NPCs (Profession trainers) are NPCs that introduce and assist players with their artisan professions.[1][2][3]
- Artisan certification quests must be completed to gain proficiency in each tier of artisan progression.[1][2]
- Each profession has quests that introduce players to their first artisan toolsets.[2][3]
- Profession NPCs sell lower level artisan gear and backpacks.[4] Higher level items are crafted by players.[5][6][7][8]
- Profession NPCs supply certain recipes.[9]
